Albuquerque - Haro mountain bike 13 1/2" frame for small person - $125

This mountain bike from Haro has 26" wheels but a small frame which will fit people from four and a half to around five feet tall. It is a quality bike that cost over $300 new, with a lightweight aluminum frame, suspension front fork, and all-aluminum components. It would be great for an adult female rider. For Sale: 2003 Giant Rainier Mountain Bike Frame: 21” Aluminum Fork: 80/100mm Manitou Axel Super with heavy person spring Derailleur: Shamino Deore (front), Deore LX (rear) Brakes: Avid CPS mechanical disc brakes, 6” Tires: Kenda Kenetics 2.35, less than 10 miles on the tires History: I purchased this bike in as a left-over 2003 model in 2004, rode a few mild trails, and rode it around town. Not much use at all. Last year I had the fork rebuilt by Central Park Bicycle in Okemos. Everything seems to work fine on it, though it could probably benefit from a tune-up/lube and having the rims trued. Known faults: Rims should be trued and spoke tension checked. Included: Bike + maybe a half-dozen spare tubes. I will also include the standard spring for the fork if I can figure out where I stored it. $250 or best. The bike is currently located in East Lansing but I regularly return to Livonia/Plymouth, so I could easily meet you in Ann Arbor if that would work better.

its a old peugeot 10 speed frame. from there i put a sealed bb crank(70), put double wall alloy wheels on it($70), cinelli jelly bar tape($25), new super skinny tires($32), formula sealed track hub ($40), a surley 16t cog and dura-ace 15t cog ($50 pair), newer road seat($25), caged pedals ($25) and a topeak computer with cadence($40). i am a bike mechanic that works at a shop for 4 years. all of this work was done professionally and not rigged in some guys garage or basement. 90% of old road bikes that are converted are not going to have the sealed bearings or double walled rims that add alot of stiffness and durability. great buy for someone wanting to get into fixies or for around campus. email for any questions.
